This month we decided to have a simple theme for we were aware that mothers day and easter crafts would make up a large majority of the month. To explore spring we went on nature walks. For Mother's day, the younger ones made teapot cards and the older ones did some colour in cards. Everyone also made a heart shaped magnets for their mums. For Easter, we did messy play with the younger ones as well as crispy bun making! They also made Easter baskets which we filled with chocolate! The older ones participated in our annual Easter egg hunt where they must hunt for a paper Easter egg in order to trade it in for a real large easter egg. The older ones also made egg-shaped lemon curd biscuits which looked delicious. Everyone also made Easter cards and some choose to do other crafted too such as bunny mask making and key rings. What a fantastic month!
